Emergency First Aid and CPR
Basic/FA 1 Level C for adults, children and infants
Emergency first aid and CPR is a basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Additional Details
- PROGRAM FEE: $100
- COURSE LENGTH: Full course – 7.5 hours in class OR 4.5 hours in class and 4 hours online (blended learning)
- COURSE PARTICIPATION: 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam
- CERTIFICATION TERM: 3 year Emergency First Aid certificate (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
- RECERTIFICATION INFORMATION: Where provincial/territorial legislation allows; 5–6 hours; includes CPR Level A or C $80
- Prerequisite for recertification* Completion of full emergency first aid course or a re-certification course of the same level within the past 3 years.* Must bring current same level CPR certificate (not expired)* Must have completed previous certification course with a credible provider such the Red Cross, St. Johns Ambulance, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line certification is not valid for renewal.
