Standard First Aid and CPR

Standard First Aid and CPR is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

- PROGRAM FEE: $150
- COURSE LENGTH: Full course – 14 hours in class OR 7.5 hours in class and 8 hours online (blended learning)
- COURSE PARTICIPATION: 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam
- CERTIFICATION TERM: 3 year Standard First Aid certificate (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
- RECERTIFICATION INFORMATION: 6–9 hours, includes CPR Level A or C and AED. $130
- Prerequisite for recertification:
- Completion of full standard first aid course or a re-certification course of the same level within the past 3 years.
- Must bring current same level CPR certificate (not expired)
- Must have completed previous certification course with a credible provider such the Red Cross, St. Johns Ambulance, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line certification is not valid for renewal.
