Prairie First Aid Trainings Basic Life Support (BLS) course is a foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. BLS is the cornerstone program for healthcare professionals. As the gold standard, Heart & Stroke’s BLS training courses teach the theoretical and hands-on skills needed to respond to medical emergencies and drives the best possible patient outcomes.  The course is a pre-requisite to all health care courses.  You will receive a 1-year certificate from the Heart and Stroke Foundation upon successful completion of the course. Course fee is $80,  all first time students must purchase a student manual for the course $25 extra, purchase of the manual can be done with the instructor at the start of the course.
